Welcome to Heart Revival Ministries
Heart Revival Ministries exists to do what Jesus did and that is to proclaim good news to the poor, bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom for the captives, and release from darkness for the prisoners.
Founders Ron and Sherry Torbert bring over 30 years of experience to this ministry of helping individuals and couples find healing through Biblical principles. Their counseling is unique and brings freedom in ways traditional therapy cannot. * Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and through prayers of repentance and forgiveness, they see miraculous changes in the hearts and lives of God’s people.
Ron and Sherry both take great joy in being available for the Holy Spirit to use them. They have a team of Ambassadors who joyfully spread the word about this ministry to the heart. These volunteers are people whose lives have been deeply impacted by this type of personal ministry.
In 1992, Ron and Sherry were both trained by the staff of Elijah House Ministries which was founded by John Sandford.

Passion for Purpose is an 8-week course designed to help you discover and remove strongholds in your life that are blocking you from walking in your destiny. It is an introduction to inner healing.
Lessons Include:
- A Helper for the Journey – Inner healing requires the power of the Holy Spirit
- God’s Immutable Laws – Three design laws that affect every relationship you have
- Accomplishing Forgiveness – The key to peace
- Exposing the Enemy – Getting truth where we have believed lies
- Trauma/Shame Recovery – Recognizing the effects of trauma and shame and how you can be healed
- Love Needs – How unmet love needs leave us vulnerable to false sources of intimacy
- Denial – Recognition is the first step to healing.
- Your Purpose – Receiving and giving God’s unconditional love.

TRAINING 201 – 202
Transforming The World. One Relationship at a Time.
Elijah House prayer ministry is a type of biblical counseling that is pastoral in nature. Prayer Ministry Training Course 201 lays the foundations for healing and transformation, both for the students themselves, and for equipping the saints for inner healing and the work of binding up broken hearts (Isaiah 61:1).
We teach foundational principles and tools for dealing with personal and interpersonal issues. Students learn to trace bad fruit to bitter roots formed in the heart (Hebrews 12:15), most often in childhood. They learn how to cut off bitter roots at the cross and bring repentance and inner healing to the heart. Transformation is the goal of this work — to raise up healthy Christians in their own communities.
